I hereby decree that one of my New Year’s resolutions is to keep my blog alive and healthy. I am starting this resolution two weeks late, I know, but I am starting it nonetheless.
As part of this blog resurrection, let me go ahead and say that I am a MFA Photography student at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan (for all those new readers out there that don’t know anything about me).
I’ve spent the week in Los Angeles with my classmates, and yesterday we went to Chinatown… probably one of my favorite experiences of the trip. Here’s my Awesome List of things I did in Chinatown:
Spencer, my boyfriend (info for the new people again), has already immensely made fun the way I look in this picture… his favorite thing to do. Lisa, my best friend from home (new people info! … ok i’ll stop pointing it out now) tagged him as the Buddha on Facebook (go, Lisa!), a tag that Spencer promptly removed.
Later in the day, I got to swim in a pool as part of someone’s piece in the Suprasensorial exhibition as MOCA. No joke, there was actually a POOL in the MUSEUM … although as a piece itself, I’m not sure what it really supposed to do.

One piece I really enjoyed at MOCA yesterday was Marnie Weber’s video “The Sea of Silence”. It was creepy, ephemeral and awesome, and I cannot wait to pour through her website. Here’s a still -
